..the last hurrah..

this is brittney reporting the final days of high school. fia has given me the opportunity to write a blog just for kicks.

i've attended illini bluffs since the pre-school days and it has been a long journey. unfortunately, the fun of high school has come to an end and now have to get into gear by moving along to college for the next four years; adulthood. sounds scary for any teenager, but we must move on, right? fia and i have two more days left of high school....our big day is may 15th....a.k.a. graduation day!! i'm anxious and excited, yet i feel a sense of sadness. i love high school and if this ever existed, i would attend illini bluffs university. i will miss being around the lame teachers and the spunky teachers. im going to miss the wannabe freshman and the hallway fights between the biggest low-lifes you'll ever meet. but most of all, i'm going to miss all of my classmates that i've grown up with since we were toddlers.

it's tough, but once we walk away from the stage, you most likely won't talk or see 75% of those classmates. Facebook is probably the only way you'll somehow keep in contact with them. altough none of my classmates will be able to read this, i'll miss you guys alot and i wish the best of luck to you all in the future....including the foreign exchange students =]

for those of you who are graduating or soon-to-be graduates, good luck to you too. cherish high school every class period and make memories your senior year because it counts!
